Coalition To Salute America's Heroes Logo



The mission of the Coalition to Salute America’s Heroes is to help severely-wounded veterans and families of Operation Enduring Freedom, Operation Iraqi Freedom, and Operation New Dawn recover from their injuries and illnesses, and to inspire other organizations and the general public to participate in this effort.

Emergency Financial Aid (prevents foreclosures, repossessions, emergency home maintenance, food and transportation), Heroes Thanking Heroes Program (work from home for veteran or spouse/caregiver),
Road to Recovery Conference (3-4 day conference to prepare resumes, interviewing and job fair skills)

Galveston County Fire Fighters Logo



The Galveston County CISM Team - Critical Incident Stress Management for First Responders.

The CISM Team assist emergency service personnel, including dispatchers, who have experienced a critical incident such as line of duty death, death of a child or multiple casualty/fatality scene duty.

Military Veteran Peer Network Logo



The Gulf Coast center provides an essential service to the community veterans through their Veteran Support Services.  The Veterans Services department is a member and representation of the Military Veteran Peer Network (MVPN). Our network assists veterans and their family members in connecting to their peers and veteran service providers locally and state-wide.

Waves Logo

The WAVES Project is a 501c3 nonprofit organization working with combat wounded veterans using the platform of SCUBA diving conducted by specially trained diving instructors.

Resources Provided:
Assist in the rehabilitation of injuries received while serving our country. SCUBA is a "buddy" sport that brings back teamwork and camaraderie that was enjoyed while on active duty.
