Holiday Aims to Celebrate People-First Banking and Educate the Community
LEAGUE CITY – On October 19, Associated Credit Union of Texas will celebrate International Credit Union Day (ICU Day), along with 56,000 credit unions around the world, honoring the philosophy and achievements of people-first banking.
Since 1948, ICU Day has been celebrated annually on the third Thursday of October. The event commemorates credit unions’ proud history and promotes awareness of and support of credit unions. This year’s theme, “Dreams Thrive Here,” celebrates how credit unions serve as a catalyst to make a difference in the lives of members and employees.
