COVID-19 Skip-A-Payment Request
This is a special offer to help those affected by COVID-19. By submitting this form, you are requesting that ACU of Texas review your loan for the Skip-A-Pay Program. Submission of this form does not automatically approve you for the Skip-A-Payment Program. Your request will be processed within 48 business hours. Please review your Home Banking to confirm the change has been made.
Please note, any payment deferral requests regarding mortgages and other real estate secured loans should be directed to MortgageExtensions@acutx.org. These requests will be evaluated on a case-by-case basis based on financial or other hardship.
For qualified members. Member account must be in good standing to take advantage of this offer. The credit union reserves the right to determine if prior or subsequent actions may disqualify your loan.
FINANCE CHARGES will continue to accrue at the rate provided in your original loan agreement, during and after this time; deferring your payment will result in your having to pay higher total FINANCE CHARGES than if you made your payment as originally scheduled. If you carry disability or life insurance on the loan, these charges will continue to accrue. The payment deferral will extend the term of your loan(s) and you will have to make extra payment(s) after your loan(s)would otherwise be paid off. If you elected GAP coverage, the coverage will not be extended beyond original terms. Incomplete forms will not be honored.
Requests will be processed within 48 business hours after form received. Please check your Home Banking to confirm your payment has been skipped. If your loan is paid by ACH, the request must be made 3 days in advance so the transfer can be cancelled.
