2025 Scholarship Program

Deadline for scholarship submission is Saturday, March 15, 2025.

Eligibility Requirements

Applicant must:

• Be a graduating high school senior who has been involved with a community service organization or participated in a community service project.
• Be member of Associated Credit Union of Texas or graduating from one of the area schools with an ACU of Texas branded Mascot Debit Card.
• Be able to provide ACU of Texas with a written acceptance letter to an accredited college or university that will award a degree upon completion.
• Submit all required documents with application. Incomplete or late applications will not be eligible.

Note: ACU of Texas employees and family members of ACU of Texas board of directors, employees, or affiliated companies, are not eligible for this scholarship. 

Required Documents

Submit the documents listed below, along with the completed application. 

• Copy of applicant's current high school transcripts with GPA.

• 500-750 word essay describing a community service project or service organization you were involved with during high school. What did you do and how did it impact the way you look at service today?

Criteria for Selection

• The ACU of Texas Scholarship Committee will make the final selections based on the the applicants' community service contributions and information submitted in the application. Those selected will be notified by May 2, 2025.
• Scholarship recipients must submit proof of registration to an accredited college or university by September 1, 2025. Scholarship proceeds will be remitted directly to the college or university.
